Fake friends x good friends – Portuguese cognates quiz
Some words in English and Portuguese share similar spelling, meaning, and pronunciation. They are called cognates and are very helpful for beginners. However, we need to be aware of the “fake friends” or false cognates. These words have similar spelling but different meaning.
