I am from Salvador de Bahia in Brazil but since 2007 I’ve been a world traveler.  I spent six months in Italy and England. Then in 2008 moved to the Ivory Coast, Africa where I learned French, carried out volunteer work with several NGO’s, and taught Portuguese.  In 2010 I returned to Brazil to finish my studies and am currently doing a Master’s degree in Portuguese as a Foreign Language at Pontifica Universidade Catolica in Rio de Janeiro.  I am a dedicated, resourceful, and innovative language guide who strives to help students improve their knowledge in the Portuguese Language and Brazilian culture.  I use some unconventional methods to accommodate different learning styles and maximize student comprehension.   I look forward to working with you!
